I inherited my first Pentex camera from my father in high school. I clearly remember his lessons: f-stops, composition, and shutter speeds.
During my high school years I was taking pictures for the yearbook staff. While attending college I kept shooting by submitting pictures for the weekly paper. Although I was always much happier when I had my camera in my hands, I lacked the confidence to make it my career choice.

In college I studied theatre to learn more about my other passion in life, which I term “painting with light“.
This notion has been a constant in my career for the past ten years. After graduation, even though I started in theatre and rock & roll,
I quickly moved into the film and television industry. Over the years, I have been extremely fortunate to work on some of the most
elite projects, everything from the lighting the New York Philharmonic to Super Bowl commercials.

Merging my passion for photography with my experience in lighting made common sense...and also makes for some beautiful photos.

Shooting in the Philadelphia & New York area. Please contact me for rates, availability, and additional information.
